Publisher Summary This chapter discusses highly active, selective, and stable ferrierite-based catalysts for the skeletal isomerization of n -C 5 -C 7 . Various ferrierite zeolites prepared through different synthetic routes are tested as catalysts for the skeletal isomerization of n -C 5 -C 7 olefins. The ferrierite samples having a small particle size, low total aluminum content, but a high percentage of aluminum in framework positions, show the highest activity and selectivity for the reaction and stable catalytic performance with time-on-stream.
