Torsion Springback Simulation and Optimization of Process Parameters of High Strength Steel in the Stamping Forming

It occurs wrinkle,crack and spingback defects easily in sheet metal stamping forming,especially,it is more seriously to control spingback of the high strength steel.We simulate the forming and spingback of a automotive structural parts by sheet metal forming simulation software Dynaform,and we use quadratic polynomial regression to fit the model relation of the angle of torsion spingback,stamping speed,border hold force,the clearance of punch and die and friction coefficient on the base of uniform experiment design method.At the same time,we get the best combination of process parameters to control torsion springback and make the model instantaneous sensitivity analysis.the result proved that the optimized process parameters control torsion spingback well,which provides a good guide role for predicting and controlling the quality of such parts stamping.
