A Web-based System to Monitor and Analyze Network Management Information in XML.

This paper presents a network management tool to monitor and analyze XML data. The source data to be analyzed is numeric information found in XML documents retrieved via HTTP or HTTPS through a mechanism called SNMP to XML Proxy. The tool is Web-based and shows the analysis results through graphics generated by the RRDtool toolkit. All the monitoring and analysis configurations are stored in a MySQL relational database and can be easily and dynamically changed through the tool Web-based interface.
