Urine of Abnormal Color

In the March issue of Pediatrics, Dr. Thomas E. Cone, Jr., presents an excellent summary of some syndromes, diseases, and conditions associated with abnormal coloration of the urinary diaper. I should like to suggest an additional consideration for the clinician faced with a urine of abnormal color. Perhaps the best way to do this is to briefly cite a ne cent experience which led me to this suggestion. A 10-year-old boy was referred to me recently by a urologist with a statement that the boy passed orange-pink urine.
