A portable pulsed plasma jet generator based on piezoelectric transformer

A plasma jet generator based on piezoelectric transformer is designed in this paper. Different from the past, This paper used selective harmonic control method, which can control the amplitude and phase of harmonics quantitatively. By inputting a specific waveform to the piezoelectric transformer, the characteristic that the piezoelectric transformer can transfer multiple harmonicsto pulsed votage. Based on this, Piezoelectric transformer can output quasi pulse voltage. Compared with sinusoidal voltage, The plasma jet produced by quasi pulse voltage shows some different characteristics.
