A HYPERSALIVATION CASE WITH FENVALERATE

2020
Fenvalerate is an insecticide that is widely used in agriculture. Fenvalerate toxicity is very uncommon and unusual in India. Our case report is on fenvalerate induced hypersalivation, the first case recorded. Fenvol poison is ingested by the patient due to acute stress. His condition was more severe and he was symptomatic. Drooling was reduced on the 3rd day of admission. Psychiatric therapy was provided to the patient. Patient was discharged and told to come for a follow-up. We characterize the case of pyrethroid fenvalerate poisoning as hypersalivation
