EL APRENDIZAJE DE LA GEOMETRÍA A TRAVÉS DE PROGRAMAS COMPUTACIONALES
2019
A componential analysis was made from its application to 185 students of second semester of Agricultural Engineering and Information Technologies of the Southern State University of Manabi, taking into account four factors that are considered important: utility of the Geogebra computer program in the teaching of geometry, not usefulness of the computer program GeoGebra, motivation of students for the learning of geometry with the use of the computer program GeoGebra and reliability of students in the computer program GeoGebra. An exploratory factorial analysis was carried out with the purpose of detecting common factors to form appropriate categories that could specify in a general way the different aspects of the motivations of the students that it is intended to measure. The initial factorial solution was carried out by means of the principal components method and eight factors with self-value greater than one were obtained that explained 60.51% of the total variance. The degree of homogeneity that exists between the elements of the scale as a whole was determined, calculating the Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient for the total of the items, which was based on standardized elements, which is why the scale is considered to have a good consistency internal allowing to identify that the four factors of the model are relevant.
