Response of steel portal frame construction under earthquake spectrum

The structure of the housing with aseismatic performance is much concerned currently and it is the background of the study.Corresponding analysis for the characteristics of the steel portal frame structure is carried out under earthquake spectral,making it more steady in the circumstances of earthquake.With finite element method,the modeling,material parameters,mesh division,constraint imposing,load-imposing of earthquake spectral are conducted,the response characteristics of whole steel portal frame structure and natural frequency under earthquake spectral are obtained.It can helpful to improve aseismatic capability and optimization of the design achieved,then,reduce manufacture cost.
