IMPAIRED DRIVING DETECTION AND ENFORCEMENT

The purpose of this paper is to provide a framework for the discussion of research and development activities that may assist police officers in their efforts to enforce impaired driving laws. The paper provides a brief history of impaired driving enforcement, followed by current issues and suggested research topics.
