Learners' Factors on Incidental Vocabulary Acquisition in Second Language Reading

Incidental vocabulary acquisition is an effective way in vocabulary acquisition in second language reading.Many scholars have had empirical studies on factors that influence incidental vocabulary acquisition in English reading.However,few studies has presented in-depth introduction to these facors.Therefore,this article completely summarizes the learners’ factors on incidental vocabulary acquisition in these studies,and on the above basis,it discusses the inspirations of these factors on college English teaching and learning in order to improve the reforms in English teaching.
