[Occlusal adjustment and crown finishing in gold-ceramics].

1991
: In the present study the Authors, using the Scanning Electron Microscope (magnification max. = 1.500 X), compare the finishing of gold-porcelain crown's surfaces clinically obtainable, after finishing by diamond points, with the polishing realized by means of glazing laboratory procedures. The survey demonstrates a great difference between the two techniques, showing large furrows on the surfaces when polished using silicon rubber points while they were perfectly smooth when glazed in laboratory.
