Pt / Rh / Fe alloy catalyst for fuel cell and process for its preparation

The invention relates to a platinum alloy catalyst on an electrically conductive carbon support containing an alloy of 40 to 60 atomic% of platinum, 10 to 20 atomic% of rhodium and 20 to 50 atomic% iron in the form of finely divided alloy particles. The catalyst is characterized in that the average particle size of the alloy particles is less than 10 nm.
