Combined duodenoscopy, laparoscopy and choledochoscopy in treating chledocholithiasis

2004
Objective: The significance of multiple endoscopies being combined to extract choledocholith and bile duct residual stones (after laparoscopy cholecystectomy) was evaluated. Methods: 82 choledocholithiasis patients were admitted and received the therapeutical procedures, ie. Endoscopic sphincterotomy (EST), laparoscopic common bile duct exploration and choledochoscopy used during operation. Results: It was realized by satisfactory outcome: Among 68 patients who were adopted by EST, 66 cases succeeded. The same effects were appear in 12 cases among 14 patients who were used choleclothoscopy during operation. Conclusion: The combined duodenoscopy, laparoscopy and choledochoscopy are paraticable and safe. The operation can substitute most open choledocholithotomy.
