Chemical Constituents from Inula Japonica Thunb

2011
OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents in Inula japonica Thunb.METHODS A variety of separation technologies were used for the isolation of compounds, and their structures were identified by physical properties and spectroscopic techniques(NMR,IR,UV and MS).RESULTS Eleven compounds, chrysoeriol(Ⅰ),patuletin(Ⅱ),quercetin(Ⅲ),luteolin(Ⅳ),kaempferol(Ⅴ),inuchinenolide C(Ⅵ),britannilactone(Ⅶ),daucosterol(Ⅷ),β-sitosterol(Ⅸ),britanin(Ⅹ) and ivangustin(Ⅺ),were obtained from Inula japonica Thunb.CONCLUSION Compound Ⅰ was isolated from this genus for the first time.
