INSIDENSI DERMATITIS ATOPIK DI POLIKLINIK DERMATOLOGI DAN VENEREOLOGI RSUP DR.MOHAMMAD HOESIN PALEMBANG PERIODE 2014 –2018

Introduction. Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory chronic skin disease that related to skin barrier dysfunction and T-helper (Th) 2 immune system disorders. The aim of this study was to determine incidence of atopic dermatitis in the Dermatology and Venereology Outpatient Clinic RSUP MH Palembang. Method. This study is an cross sectional descriptive study from medical record data. Result. From 138 data, AD was more common in female (61,6%) than male (38,4%). Most of the cases were adolescents and adult phase (68,6%), senior high school (30,4%) and unemployed (51,4%). Patients tends to have other personal and family atopic history such as asthma were (12,3%) and (17,4%). Infantile phase mostly had lesions at their scalp (58,8%); childhood phase at their antebrachii and cubitii (38,5%); adolescents and adult phase at their manus (49,5%). Most patients were treated with emollient such as urea cream 10% (43,5%) and antihistamine systemic such as cetirizine (68,1%). Conclusion. Incidence of AD period 2014-2018 tends to vary even though it has increased in 2015.
