Detection on the disinfectant resistant gene of Acinetobacter baumannii

Objective:To understand the presence of the disinfectant resistance gene carried by Acinetobacter baumannii in patients of intensive care unit.Methods:qacE△1 gene in drug-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii strains was detected and analyzed by PCR.Results:qacE△1 gene was found in 20 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii,the detection rate was 100%.Conclusion:The detection rate of qacE△1 gene was high in multi-drug resistant Acinetobacter baumannii from ICU patients,which showed the clinical drug-resistance strains had resistance to disinfectants.
