Role of primary care in the management of prostate cancer

Prostate cancer is a common disease and the majority of men will be diagnosed by their GP. In this article the authors discuss how, with appropriate protocols in place, both localised and advanced disease are suitable for shared care between the urology cancer multidisciplinary team and general practice.
