Locking plate type intramedullary nail for femoral intertrochanteric fracture treatment

2015
The invention discloses a locking plate type intramedullary nail for femoral intertrochanteric fracture treatment. The locking plate type intramedullary nail for femoral intertrochanteric fracture treatment is made of a titanium-nickel alloy and comprises a longitudinal nail, a transverse nail and a locking plate. The transverse nail comprises a head portion, a body portion and a tail portion. The head portion is conical, the body portion is cylindrical, the tail portion is provided with a hexagonal recess, an external thread is arranged from the middle portion of the body portion to the head portion, and the head portion, the body portion and tail portion are connected as a whole. The outer side surface of the transverse nail is designed with a groove, the center line of the groove and the center line of the transverse nail are on different surfaces, and the locking plate is inserted into the groove. The transverse nail and the longitudinal nail are in intersection. When the locking plate type intramedullary nail for femoral intertrochanteric fracture treatment is used in an operation, a fracture is reduced and drilled, the longitudinal nail penetrates the fracture, the transverse nail is screwed in the longitudinal nail, and the locking plate is inserted into the groove. The locking plate type intramedullary nail for femoral intertrochanteric fracture treatment avoids the Z effect of a traditional nail, can slide with load within a controllable range, greatly reduces the size, reduces the bone loss and avoids the swinging of the intramedullary nail.
