Calorimetric studies of the order of magnetic phase transitions in Cr and some Cr alloys at the Neel point

Direct measurements of the latent heat reveal that the transition between the paramagnetic and the incommensurate spin density wave structure is of the first order while the transition becomes of the second order when it is between the paramagnetic and the commensurate spin density wave structure.
