Synthesis and characterization of a novel Ba2-xV2O7:xDy3+ phosphor by hydrothermal method for WLED applications
2021
A novel Dy3+ doped Ba2V2O7 (Ba2-xV2O7:xDy3+) phosphor was synthesized by hydrothermal method. The structural, optical and luminescent properties were studied using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Visible spectrometry and photoluminescence spectrometry. The Color Rending Index (CRI) value was obtained as 60 for the as- prepared phosphors. This result suggested that Ba2-xV2O7:xDy3+ phosphor is the prospective material in the near UV chips excited WLEDs device fabrication.
