Composition, Properties, and Electrochemical Behavior of Nonstoichiometric Manganese Dioxide Obtained in Fluoride-Containing Electrolytes
2002
The composition, properties, and structure of manganese dioxide samples are studied. Deviation of the compound composition from stoichiometry affects the ionic component of the conductivity as well as catalytic and electrochemical activities of the compound. The higher the MnO2 deviation from stoichiometry, the better the electric parameters of prototype batteries with cathodes based on MnO2.
