Comparison of Wireless Location Algorithms in Mobile Communication Networks

This paper introduces the Taylor algorithm and Chan algorithm based on the time difference of arrival (TDOA) and the TDOA/AOA hybrid positioning algorithm. In the simulation experiment, the positioning root-mean-square error is used as the evaluation index, and simulation analysis of Chan algorithm, Taylor algorithm and TDOA/AOA hybrid algorithm are implemented under different conditions respectively. The results indicate that the positioning root-mean-square error of TDOA/AOA hybrid algorithm is smaller than that of the Chan algorithm and the Taylor algorithm, that is, the hybrid positioning algorithm has better positioning performance.
