Device and method for operating a motor vehicle with a vehicle regulator, for individual adjustment of the braking forces on the wheels of at least one axle of the vehicle and a yaw moment compensator for at least partial compensation of a yaw moment of the motor vehicle, arising from differing braking forces on individual wheels of the at least one axle, by means of intervention in the steering of the vehicle, whereby intervention in the steering of the vehicle does not occur, or occurs in a limited manner, during the adjustment of the braking force by means of the vehicle regulator.
