The system and method of the lighting control network recovery from master failure

The present invention provides a master-slave architecture of the radio-frequency RF networked lighting control system consists of all of the slave elements (ballast) as a backup for the network master control unit. In the system and method of the present invention, the slave element, without having to reconfigure the network, also without any intervention of any human, can be a network master control unit. Similarly, the master and one or more slave element, without requiring reconfiguration of the network, also without any intervention of any human, may be recovered from the temporary power failure.
