The Spatial-Temporal Variation Characteristics of the Different Geological Conditions of Soil Erosion in the Downtown Area of Chongqing

Soil erosion is a long time malignant geomorphologic processes,has become the most important and largest continuous influence of the eco-environmental problems in China.This article took the main of Chongqing city as an example,which was located at the end of the Three Gorges Reservoir.The synthesis utilizes RS and the GIS technology,interpreting the 1988,1999,2009 three periods of TM,CBERS remote sensing,and with the digital geological map of the spatial overlay.The results showed in the following aspects:(1)In 1988-2009,the various strata presented the change for the better tendency as a whole research area with micro-erosion,slight erosion primarily.(2)Research area strata soil erosion rates of change had internal differences.(3)From the stratum and the soil erosion correlational dependence analysis,lothological weakness determined the susceptibility of soil erosion.The Shaximiao group and Suining group,with weak resistance to corrosion,low friction coefficient of purple(red) color sandstone and mudstone primarily,and coupled with the exposed area,was determined that the susceptibility of soil erosion,therefore,It was the top-priority work of the water and soil conservation in research area.
