The invention relates to an angle sensor (1) for detecting a rotational angle based on a relative angular position of a physical field, comprising a first and a second sensor element (28, 51) between which the physical field is transferred, wherein the first sensor element (28) as donor element and the second sensor element (51) is designed as a receiving element or vice versa, a shaft (20) at which the first sensor element (28) is fixed, a housing (40) to which the second sensor element (51) is fixed, wherein the housing (40) comprises a receiving area (47) for receiving the shaft (20), a shaft bearing (30) with a bearing-side bearing surface (34) for supporting the shaft (20) in the receiving region (47) of the housing (40), wherein the shaft bearings (30) from a plurality of separate bearing pads (30a, 30b) is formed, each covering a part of the bearing circumference.
