In situ analysis of Ru carbonyl catalysts for carbonylation reactions by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry

1996
Abstract When using Ru complexes as catalysts for carbonylation reactions under the conditions of high temperature and high pressure, we sequentially measured in situ IR spectra during the synthesis, and respectively analyzed the complicated behavior of several Ru complexes by applying component seperation analysis (inverse problems). This kind of analysis, combining in situ measurements and component separation analysis, could be a promising characterization technique for optically homogeneous catalysts.
