Application of novel azo metal thin film in optical recording

Abstract The absorption spectrum of spin-coated azo metal thin film showed a comparatively large absorption band in the wavelength region (500–600 nm), which matched with the wavelength of the GaAlInP semiconductor diode laser (630–650 nm). The optical recording performance of the film was investigated.
