Enantioselective [2 + 2 + 2] Cycloaddition of Ketenes and Carbon Disulfide Catalyzed by N‐Heterocyclic Carbenes.

A mechanism in which the catalytic reaction is initiated by addition of the N-heterocyclic carbene to ketenes rather than to carbon disulfide is proposed.
