Access Denied: A Study of Suppression in Australian Literature

Suppression of literature means that the book is not available to the reading public. This thesis documents for the first time that this phenomenon occurs in Australia and explores when and how it occurs. The appendix lists 172 cases in which suppression has occurred and provides an explanation for each entry
