Method for manufacturing a converter element converting a light of a given wavelength into light of a different wavelength.

1991
In this method for manufacturing a photoconvertisseur, a sol is formed with a matrix compound capable of forming a sol-gel film containing a template substance component permeable to visible light and an acid chloride containing luminescent atoms, one form with the ground a coating on a substrate formed of a glass tube, and this coating was subjected to reduction by means of a calcination to sinter the coating so as to obtain the photoconvertisseur. This method enables to manufacture a photoconvertisseur that can be used as easily as a phosphor and which is adapted to perform a photoconversion with high efficiency with respect to energy.
