Criterios para la evaluación de la calidad del personal docente e investigador universitario en ciencias de la actividad física y el deporte

La evaluacion del profesorado es uno de los aspectos mas importantes en la busqueda de la calidad en la educacion superior. El objetivo de esta investigacion fue conocer la opinion de los profesores del grado de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte sobre los aspectos en los que son evaluados, docencia, investigacion y gestion. La muestra de estudio la formaron, en los estudios de metodologia cuantitativa 164 profesores que impartian clase en el grado de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte y en el estudio cualitativo la muestra fueron 15 Catedraticos en Actividad Fisica y Deporte y 2 Catedraticos en Didactica de le Expresion Corporal que impartian docencia en el grado de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte. La investigacion se dividio en seis estudios, los cinco primeros utilizaron como instrumento el "Cuestionario sobre Criterios de Calidad del Personal Docente e Investigador Universitario en Ciencias de la Actividad fisica y Deporte (CPDI-CAFD)". En el estudio seis se utilizo como instrumento una entrevista semiestructurada (ECat-CPDI-CAFD). Los resultados mostraron en primer lugar que los requisitos para el acceso a las distintas acreditaciones son muy permisivos, muy orientados a la cuantificacion de meritos y por ultimo que el aspecto investigador esta sobredimensionado con respecto al docente. Por otro lado atendiendo a la evaluacion de la investigacion los resultados indican que el aspecto mas importante son las publicaciones de articulos de investigacion en JCR, con respecto a la docencia los resultados obtenidos indican que su evaluacion se deberia centrar en la calidad y no en la cantidad, formulando criterios y por ultimo respecto a la gestion destacar la necesidad de formacion previa en administracion y gestion academica para el acceso a los cargos unipersonales de gestion academica. Estos datos, junto con los rankings de revistas, rankings de editoriales y las propuestas de minimos basadas en la opinion del profesorado de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte, pueden servir para mejorar y realizar una evaluacion mas objetiva y ajustada al area de Ciencias de la Actividad Fisica y el Deporte. Teacher evaluation is one of the most important aspects in the search for quality in higher education. The objective of this research was to identify the opinion of Physical Education and Sport Science degree teachers on the topics in which they are evaluated, their teaching, their research and their management. Two studies were taken; a quantitative methodology study sample was formed of 164 teachers who taught in Physical Education and Sport Science degrees, the qualitative study sample taken from 15 Professors of Physical Activity and Sport and 2 Professors of Didactics of the Body Expression who taught Physical Education and Sport Science degrees. The research was divided into six studies; the first five using the questionnaire "Questionnaire on Quality Criteria of Teaching Personnel and University Researchers in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CPDI-CAFD)" as a tool. The sixth was performed using a semi-structured interview (ECat-CPDI-CAFD). The results showed that in the first place the requirements to access the different accreditations are very permissive, very oriented to the quantification of merits and finally that the research aspect is oversized with respect to teaching. On the other hand, considering the evaluation of the research, the results indicate that the most important aspect is the research of articles in JCR publications, and with respect to teaching, the results obtained show that its evaluation should focus on the quality and not on the quantity, formulating new criteria. And finally in terms of academic management, this highlights the need for previous training in administration and academic management to be able to access singular positions in academic management. This data, together with the rankings of magazines, editorials rankings and proposals of minimums based on the opinion of the teachers of Physical Education and Sport Sciences, can serve to improve and make a more objective and adjusted evaluation to the area of Physical Activity and Sport Science.
