The invention relates to the technical field of total-tailings ground surface stacking and storing, and discloses a tailings grading and zoning high-concentration discharging system. A slurry pump and a hydrocyclone are connected. The top of the hydrocyclone is communicated with a fine-fraction efficient thickener, and the bottom of the hydrocyclone is communicated with a coarse-fraction efficient thickener. The coarse-fraction efficient thickener is further connected to a tailings pond dam head. The fine-fraction efficient thickener is further connected to a tailings pond dam tail. Diaphragm pumps are arranged between the coarse-fraction efficient thickener and a tailings pond and between the fine-fraction efficient thickener and the tailings pond. A tailings high-concentration discharging method is further disclosed and comprises the steps that firstly, tailings grading is carried out; secondly, coarse and fine tailings dense water removing is carried out; and thirdly, water-removed dense mortar is conveyed to the tailings pond dam head and the tailings pond dam tail. The system and method have the beneficial effects that total-tailings grading and zoning multi-point discharging is achieved, and the defect that high-concentration tailings cannot be naturally graded is overcome; the coarse and fine tailings construct a sub dam good in permeability, the position of a seepage line of the tailings pond is lowered, and the stability of the dam is high; and applicability is wide, the scheme is easy to implement, and effects are obvious.
