The prevention and suppression of axial xenon oscillations in the core of a VVER-1000 reactor

Simple to use and safe algorithms are proposed for preventing and suppressing axial xenon oscillations in the reactor core. The tests conducted during commissioning of power unit no. 1 of the Rostov nuclear power station have substantiated the efficiency of the algorithms.
