Voluminosa recidiva locale da carcinoma renale: presentazione di un caso

2001
Local recurrences of renal cell carcinoma after radical surgery are on the whole very uncommon. The average time of onset is 1-2 years and they consist of various tissue types (lymph node tissue, retroperitoneal soft tissue, adrenal metastasis). There are no standard therapeutic guidelines. Reporting a case of voluminous local recurrence of renal cell carcinoma already treated with radical surgery, the authors wish to assess the type of radical surgery carried out in this case and confirm the effectiveness of surgery associated with adjuvant oncological therapy.
