Peripheral Zone Prostate Cancer in Patients with Elevated PSA Levels and Low Free-to-Total PSA Ratio: Detection with MR Imaging and MR Spectroscopy

Our study shows a potential benefit of including MR imaging and MR spectroscopy in the diagnostic work-up of patients with elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels and low free-to-total PSA ratio to detect prostate cancer before transrectal US-guided biopsy.
