La conciliación de la vida laboral y familiar en profesionales que valoran la Dependencia

2020
The incorporation of women into work has led to one of the deepest social changes of the last century that implies a new way of cooperation and commitment between women and men so that there is a balanced distribution of responsibilities in work and family life. However, in spite of the legislative advances in Spain in terms of reconciling work and family live, it is still necessary to contribute to this social welfare system in today’s society and investigate whether there really is labor and family conciliation in the different contexts in which men and women participate. In this area, we are interested in exploring how professionals who value dependence in the General Administration of Care for the Dependants and the Major in the Community of Madrid have been able to reconcile work and family life. For this, the socio-demographic variables that affect the work-family and family-work conflict have been analyzed. In very general terms, the methodology is descriptive. Non-probabilistic sampling has been used for convenience to access the 100 participants in this study, these include professionals in medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and social work. The Spanish version of the Work-Family Interaction Questionnaire Work-Home Interaction-Nijme-gen Survey known as SWING has been applied.
