Study on the Application of a Self-led, Collaborative Learning Method

The study aims to analyze the difference between the self-led learning capabilities of nursing students before and after the application of a self-led learning collaborative study method. The subjects were a total of 44 university students majoring in nursing. This study is based on an experiment on a subject of a single group for 15 weeks in order to identify the effects of a self-led learning method used by nursing students. The average of the total score for self-led learning capabilities increased by -.06±.27 from 3.4±.40 to 3.5±3.42. In the subcategories, the average scores for study execution and study assessment increased after the application of self-led learning skills and there was a statistically significant improvement in the score for study assessment.
