Magnetism and superconductivity of Sm2-x-yGdxCeyCuO4-d

Abstract In order to study interplay between magnetism and superconductivity, magnetic measurements were performed on the Sm 2−x−y Gd x Ge y CuO 4−d system. Superconducting and antiferromagnetic transitions are observed in the samples of x 1.5) show successive magnetic transitions below 10K. The orientation of rare-earth moments is along c-axis for x 1.5.
