Abstract Intravascular lymphomatosis (IVL) is a rare, yet important, cause of a variety of unexplained neurological syndromes. In this clinical context, the only clue to the diagnosis may be a significantly raised plasma lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) on a background of clinical features of a systemic illness.
