Production of flavor release material, and flavor release material

PURPOSE: To produce a flavor release material hardly causing the shift of a flavoring agent to the surrounding condition during preservation, and performing the constant release of the flavoring agent in use. CONSTITUTION: A paper is prepared by mixing a cellulosic fiber and an activated carbon, and the content of the activated carbon in the paper is measured. The flavoring agent in the saturated amount for the adsorption on the activated carbon is added to the measured paper to produce the objective flavor-releasing material comprising the cellulosic fiber, the activated carbon, and the flavoring agent such as menthol and peppermint. When the flavor-releasing material is used for a cigarette, the cigarette capable of uniformly releasing the flavor until finishing the smoking is provided. COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO
