A method for manufacturing an optical disc, comprising the steps of: - providing a substrate (1) having an inner edge and an outer edge; - applying a liquid resin material (10) on the substrate (1) on an inner peripheral portion; - rotating the substrate (1) for spreading the liquid resin material (10) to the outer edge of the substrate; and - irradiating the liquid resin material (10) for curing or partial curing thereof, said curing progressively from the inner edge to the outer edge of the substrate (1) takes place, characterized, in that the rotation of the substrate (1) repeatedly alternately at a high speed (V1 ... V5), the (VL) is greater than a rotational speed and a low speed (VL) is smaller than the rotation speed is carried out; irradiating the liquid resin material (1C) only during each rotation of the substrate (1) at a low speed that is less than the rotational speed (VL) and generates a centrifugal force that does not spread the liquid resin material (10), is performed; and the irradiation region gradually up to the outer edge of the substrate (1) is extended in the radial direction or moved.
