Design of Dual Band Compact Wireless Energy Harvesting Circuit for GSM and WLAN Band
2018
this paper presents a compact rectifying circuit for wireless energy harvesting application over GSM 1.8 and WLAN/Wi-Fi 2.45 GHz band of frequency. The proposed rectifying circuit employs the modified version of the single-stage full-wave Greinacher rectifier with a novel optimized two branch matching unit comprised of radial stubs and open stubs. The circuit evolves the usage of interdigital capacitors. The maximum RF to DC conversion efficiency of 63% and 40 % is achieved for 1.8 GHz and 2.45 GHz respectively. The dimension of the fabricated circuit is 55 × 50 ×1.6 mm3, which can be considered to be quite compact at two operating frequencies.
