Estudo do desempenho térmico de uma edificação da POLI-UPE de acordo com a NBR 15575

This research aims to verify the simulation method suggested by NBR 15575-1 as a procedure to qualify the thermal performance of a building. For that, the lobby’s edification of the Polytechnic School of the University of Pernambuco was adopted, which is located in the city of Recife. The simulation was performed with the EnergyPlus software. It was also sought to compare the internal air temperature of the building’s room with the highest temperature peak, according to the simulation’s results, with measurements in loco through the use of temperature sensor. The results showed that the desconsideration, in the simulation, of the internal loads acting on the building, as well as the use of only the maximum daily value of the outdoor air temperature for the typical summer day as a criterion, can exert a considerable influence on the thermal performance qualification of a building.
