General problem of MHD wave diffraction by MHD inhomogeneity of arbitrary shape
1998
The general problem of the MHD wave diffraction by an arbitrary inhomogeneity in a plasma is formulated on the basis of integral equations. These equations combine macroscopic equations of field and medium, boundary and initial conditions, in the form of the Volterra equations for non-stationary diffraction, or the integral equations that can be reduced to the Fredholm ones for stationary (time-harmonic) wave diffraction.
