Study on triploid induction of Sinonova culaconstricta using 6-DMAP

The triploid induetion of Sinonovacula constricta by blocking the releasing of the second polar body with 6-dimethylaminopurine(6-DMAP) were reported.The result showed that triploid can be induced with 6-DMAP at concentration ranging from 100 to 500μmol/dm~3.The triploid rate and D-shaped larva deformity rate increased,and the embryo hatching rate decreased with 6-DMAP concentrations and disposal time.In general,when 6-DMAP concentration is 300μmol/dm~3 and disposal time is 20 min,we got the best induction in this experiment.
