El saneamiento de las aguas residuales y sus costes: una propuesta de financiación para el sector

In the last years the not conventional water resources, especially, the wastewater and reuse are acquiring a great importance. Its effective establishment requires a financing model that stimulates the sector to obtain better quality effluents with smaller prices. The generation of final different products motivates the existence a joint-cost allocation problem, because the administration finances all of them, but some of them can be recovered by the sale of the sludge and electricity. Our proposal is about improving these aspects as well as the inclusion of incentives to the decrease the contamination of the effluents.
