Вторичная профилактика ишемического инсульта. Выбор способа хирургического вмешательства

In the report the results of the treatment of 526 patients with the hemodynamic atherosclerotic damages of carotid bifurcation have been analyzed. The patients were divided into 4 groups in dependence with the damage type of carotid arteries that has determined the choice of the method of plastic of bifurcation of carotid arteries. The applied surgical approach assured 96.1% of the patients to gain positive results in the early postoperative period and nearly 89.4% with the period of observation up to 5 years.
