Morphology of the Surface of a High-Density Ceramic After Hydroabrasive Machining

2015
It is established that a hydroabrasive jet significantly alters the morphology of the surface of high-density ceramics. The structural pattern formed on the surface depends on the conditions of contact between the jet, the ceramic specimen, and the working fluid. No brittle defects were seen on surfaces that were subjected to hydroabrasive machining.
