A high resolution CMOS A/D converter for operation at 175°C

1992
Abstract A high resolution analog-to-digital converter based on a synchronized pulse-width modulator is described. The PWM circuit is used to produce a high-resolution, direct-counting A/D converter that requires only one counter. The recently patented circuit has been implemented in 3 μm CMOS and operates up to 175°C.
